Geese have a reputation as aggressive and noisy, but they can be very rewarding as well tame.   Different breeds behave differently and some have picked up an unjust reputation because of particular individuals that 'someone has known'.   It is well worth thinking about why you want geese - perhaps to keep the grass down, for eggs, as guardians or for pleasure - and research the different types to see which suits best.
